Alright, well, the image loady thingy broke last time, so these didn't go through at their right size, so I'll post them again. There will probably be more sketches then anything else on this page, so maybe I should change the title from "Art of Jewl" to "Sketches of Jewl," but maybe not.
This dragony pic I did a while back, it straddles the line a bit between a sketch and a fully-finished piece, the girl really needs an overhaul, but I'm not quite so interested in drawing her as I was just having fun drawing the dragon, so she's probably just going to stay that way....
Might even pull her out of the picture altogether actually, although I think it'd leave the middle of the picture a little bare, so maybe not... It's always interesting looking back at older pictures and seeing what design choices you made then, and maybe how you'd change it if you did the picture again. It gives you a little idea as to how you've changed as an artist and as a person.
If you're curious about the big designy thing in the back, originally there was talk of using that design on a t-shirt.
